This is Betsy, and her mama and I met through a local exercise/wellness group. They are both sweet as can be, and total dolls. I couldn't stop taking pictures. Enjoy!

As I was blogging these, I was thinking how ridiculously cute it is watching little boys take on their role as big brothers.
Then I started to think how cute it is to watch big sisters become little mommies to their baby siblings.
So...I guess its even. Big siblings are just the best, no matter how you slice it.

Maybe it's because my daughter never attached to any.thing. as a baby, but I have a bit of a soft spot in my heart (and trigger finger with my camera) when I come across a baby that loves their paci/lovey/blankie, etc. I just can't get enough of the tiny little hands grasping on; the soothing and calming influence that these tangible items visibly have on these precious babies as they navigate these days and weeks and months outside of their 9-month home in that warm womb. If I am photographing a baby that has these attachments, I try to get a good amount of pictures of them with and without said item...these kinds of things don't bother me during sessions. If this is why your baby loves, that is what I want to photograph and preserve for my clients.
Charlie was only days old, but he was incredibly adept at holding his paci in with his fists, and it was pure sweetness. We let loose and even let him have the wubbanub at the end of the session and oh, man....
